My Take On It

There are times that being a member of the 'Strange Days... Indeed' team has advantages and I have the opportunity to share with you some information about one of those advantages.

The Virtually Strange Network on the web has a huge amount of information about UFOs and other related phenomena available to anyone who has access to a computer. And incidentally, if any of you listeners do not have a computer and want to go take a look at The Virtually Strange website, simply go to your local library and make use of their computers. Most libraries are linked to the Internet nowadays and allow people to search and retrieve information as much as they wish.

But in any case, what makes it interesting about The VSN website is that the site is set up so we can track how many people visit the website and from where in the world they are. We don't capture personal information, but we do know general information and some of that general information is extremely interesting.

See, I have a pet peeve that nags at me like a bad headache. The U.S. government and the U.S. military has publicly declared that they have no interest in UFOs and they blatantly deny that UFOs even exist. Even when they were examining UFOs back in the 50s, 60s, and 70s with Projects Sign, Grudge and Bluebook they published a final determination, which was, "UFOs offer no threat to National Security." Case closed.

But there's only one tiny little problem with all this. They take that particular stance and then they do things like publish a couple of official positions on things like Roswell where they came clean in 1994 saying that the ROSWELL Incident was nothing more than a crashed Mogul Balloon array and the supposed aliens were nothing more than people getting time memories mixed up because they were dropping anamorphic dummies in the 50's all over the place. The official document actually has some very excellent photographs of NASA test other planet exploratory craft that look like flying saucers but there's only one teeny tiny problem with that. Those "craft" nor NASA existed back in July of 1947.

But, debunking the official Air Force report on Roswell is not what interests me this evening. What interests me is that although the Air Force and the U.S. Government have taken that particular position about UFOs they seem to consistently check out The Virtually Strange Website every month. Matter of fact, as of today, there have been 631 visits by the U.S. Military on the website and 415 visits by the U.S. Government, and those numbers are simply for this month of July, so far.

No interest, they don't exist, but over a thousand official government and military computers have been looking at information contained at VSN in the past 19 days. And those are only the ones that do not mask who they are, because with today's technology, it is possible for a computer to search on the Internet for information and hide the identity of the person who is doing the searching.

Now another thing that makes me wonder about the U.S. Air Force official position on UFOs is The U.S. Air Force Space Command. For those that don't know about it, the U.S. Air Force has a group called The U.S. Air Force Space Command and there are almost 40 thousand men and women attached to it. What is interesting about this particular branch of the U.S. Air Force is that on first sight, it seems perfectly logical. Their mission is to protect assets of the United States in Space. The question that I have is protecting them from whom? The biggest battles the U.S. have to face nowadays involve Iraq and terrorism. Iraq MAY have weapons of mass destruction kicking around, but they NEVER had any space capability and unless terrorists have the capabilities and finances of Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers movies... I would have a better chance of getting into space than they do. To be perfectly blunt, there is nobody else on the planet today that has the capability of going up into space and threatening any of the assets of the United States.

So the question remains, who is it that the U.S. Space Command is protecting us from? Oh, and incidentally, as of very recently, the U.S. Space Command has taken over the responsibility for the U.S. ICBMs and their bases. In case you missed it, that means they have the capability to push the button and launch nuclear missiles.

The final part of this enigma about the U.S. military and government official denials concerns the large numbers of ex- U.S. military officers coming forth and telling us stories about UFOs and aliens that they have seen, interacted with or were actually working on a project dealing with UFO and Alien technology. These are not merely regular soldiers, airmen and sailors. I'm talking about people whose ranks include, Captains, Majors, Colonels, and Generals. Think about that for a second_it means that these are people that the U.S. Government believed had the intelligence and common sense to be promoted to high rank. Sorry, but you don't become a General by having perfect attendance.

UFOs don't exist, they don't pose any threat to National Security and we're not interested in UFOs.

If those statements are true, it means that former military officers have to be lying, Space Command is set-up to protect space from space-faring terrorists or chipmunks and over a thousand computers in the military and government offices accidentally browsed through The Virtually Strange Network.....

But that's just my take on it.....
