My Take On It
There have been some interesting posts on the UFO UpDates List this past week as well as some interesting items in the news and on television. One tidbit in the news that caught my eye was a story about astronomers discovering a new solar system that appears similar to ours enough that they believe it could be a solar system whose planets could support life. With this being said however, there are still people out there that maintain our little ball of mud is the only planet in the entire universe with intelligent (and I use that term loosely) life crawling around on it. Kinda boggles the mind, doesn't it? On the UFO UpDates List there was discussion about Mars and the Cydonia region as well as what I am now beginning to term 'The quest for red planet history' on the planet of war. Then on television, Larry King did a show all about Roswell with guests that were directly involved with the whole Roswell Incident. This one rates in my mind as probably the worst kept top-secret cover-up in the entire history of the United States Military. I can already hear some of the titters out there but before you stop giggling and start outright belly laughing, let's have a look at some of the things that went on under our noses and was kept top-secret and covered up until the very last moment. The first story that comes to mind that military forces covered up involves Coventry. Coventry is a lovely little town in England that has been almost completely rebuilt and restored thanks to having been almost eradicated from the map during World War II and the reason it comes up is simply that the English KNEW for a fact that Coventry was going to be the target of the largest German air raid ever mounted BUT if they set up a defense of Coventry on that particular evening it was to be bombed, it would have tipped the Germans off that their CODED communications had been broken. SO_sorry about that Coventry. Another Military cover-up that took place during World War Two was the Manhattan Project aka development of the Atomic Bomb. Not only was this the most powerful weapon ever developed, it was something that involved the largest group of people and companies working towards a common goal with absolutely no idea what they were involved in. To this day, there are people who worked on the Manhattan project and they still have no idea that they or their company had been involved with the project. Bottom line, if the military or the government want to clamp down on something, cover it up, hide it, deny it exists, or even use some sleight of hand to make you think that you know something else - they can do it. Oh, and if anyone says well, see, they told us about those things eventually, so, they're not capable of hiding anything from us. All I can say is for every 'secret' that they've told us about, there are 10 that we have absolutely no knowledge about. And let's not forget about the 'experiments' they conducted on their own troops that they're still denying ever took place. Roswell, to my mind, is the one thing
that everyone points at but nobody has anything concrete to prove beyond
a shadow of a doubt what everyone suspects - a crashed ship and the occupants
from another world were recovered in July of 1947. The military has used
every trick in the book to keep the secret. They are doing their best
to look innocent, they've acted concerned by doing their own 'investigation',
and finally, they've denied everything. So to those of you that are still
laughing and actually believe the story fed to you by the U.S. Air Force
about them only recovering a weather balloon I would suggest that perhaps
you would have also believed it when you were told that you were only
working on a switch for a new type of refrigerator going to be called
the Manhattan..... But that's just my take on it..... |
