My Take On It

There is a travesty of justice going on right now. I call it a travesty because it is a civil case that is designed to do nothing more than attempt to scare people into silence. Sean David Morton has seen fit to launch a frivolous lawsuit against Royce J. Myers III and UFO Watchdog in an attempt to silence what he has been reporting about Mr. Morton.

The lawsuit of course uses a large number, one million dollars U.S. and purports that Royce J. Myers III and UFO Watchdog has said things that are slanderous and untrue. Now to understand why this has me so upset, you have to realize that when a lawsuit like this one is launched, it names everyone, meaning that it likes to seek out the deepest pockets to try and pay the bill, however, it also names parties like the internet services provider for UFO Watchdog who decided they couldn't take the chance and had to pull down the pages of very valuable information that keeps those of us in the UFO community honest.

There are many in this field that try to do things that are dishonest and make money from the field and the UFO Watchdog does a very commendable job of keeping an eye on those dishonest ones_like Jonathan Reed, whose story is so totally absurd and he has been caught in so many lies that you don't need to be the brightest crayon in the box to realize what is going on.

The UFO Watchdog for years now has provided a forum to keep an eye on everyone in the field. Those in the field whose names have become icons and do reputable research and speak about their experiences have nothing to fear, it is merely those that try to make themselves out to be more than they are or those that out rightly LIE and try to make money from people dishonestly that the UFO Watchdog upsets.

Frivolous lawsuits like the one launched against Royce J. Myers the third and UFO Watchdog should never even get to see the inside of a courtroom. I'm not sure if Royce has launched a countersuit against Mr. Morton, but I certainly hope he is considering it. Just the loss of the site over this last little while should be worth at least as much as Mr. Morton is asking for.....

But that's just my take on it!
