Strange Days... Indeed - #169
My Take On It
Ding Ding Ding, would the fighters please take their corners. Last week, I spoke about the silliness of an "accidental bombing" near Roswell being mistaken for a UFO. Well, unfortunately, that was not the real bombshell of Roswell. The REAL bombshell is the ongoing battle on the UFO UpDates List about whether some of the Roswell witnesses have mixed up facts or enhanced their stories or as one person would say, outright lied to us. Now I've had enough! I personally can not say for certain what happened near Roswell, New Mexico in July of 1947. There are however, people still in this world who could, but if you're a skeptical debunker, you would say that there is nothing to tell and anyone who is talking is just lying to us. But in reality, that is not the problem with Roswell. Do you know what the real problem with Roswell is? The real problem is that there are so many people with stories to tell! Pappy Henderson, Walter Haut, Jesse Marcel, Jesse Marcel Junior, Colonel Blanchard, Mac Brazel, etc, etc, etc. The list goes on and on. Ever since Stanton Friedman took the plunge and did the research, (that means going to Roswell, New Mexico and actually speaking with people who were there in July of 1947) the story of Roswell has seen something NEW come out almost every single year. More people coming out of the woodwork, more stories, more artifacts, secret film, you name it. All that stuff gives the debunkers something new to play with because some of the things coming out are pure attempts at people trying to make money off the legend of Roswell. With ALL that information that has appeared, it means that the debunckers can have a field day because they can pick and choose from amongst the available stories to illustrate things to validate their arguments and that is exactly what is happening on the List. The Debunkers carefully choose one thing about Roswell that has been verified as a lie, tall tale or somebody's bad memory and that is supposed to mean that everything about Roswell is a lie. They conveniently avoid the things that nobody has been able to deny. Roswell breaks down as follows: FACT: The U.S. Army Air Force issued a press release stating that they had captured a flying saucer on a ranch near Roswell, N.M. FACT: That same U.S. Army Air Force issued a retraction claiming that it was just a weather balloon. Something that even they now say was nothing more than a lie! FACT: Men, Women and Children, including some members of the Army Air Force have stated that we were lied to and have told people stories about what they witnessed that refutes the claim of the U.S. Army Air Force. As I said earlier, the problem with Roswell
is that there are so many people that have told us stories about what
they saw. So many people that I cannot believe that they are all lying
to us!
But that's just my take on it! |
